accueil contact programme abstracts inscription congrès sponsors pratiques se rendre au congrès du gem 2018 hébergements droit au titre -- . -- -- dîner du président au 58, 1er étage de la tour eiffel. privatisation du restaurant pour la sfcm et la sfrm-gemmsor, nombre de places limitées, -- jeudi 20 au samedi 22 décembre 2018 54ème congres - gem 2018 chers collègues, cher amis, en décembre dernier, vous m’avez confié cette imposante médaille que d’année en année les présidents de notre société se transmettent. si porter cette médaille est un grand honneur c’est aussi une grande responsabilité, car présider c’est préparer l’avenir. a un moment où les données démographiques montrent que le nombre de locuteurs français aura triplé dans moins de 30 ans, nous avons souhaité que 2018 soit l’année de la francophonie. depuis plus d’une année nous sollicitons des chirurgiens francophones de nombreux pays. avec ces chirurgiens, nous avons décidé de faire un bilan de la chirurgie de la main dans chacun de nos pays. a partir de ce bilan, notre objectif est de créer un espace de formation. « en chirurgie de la main, quand on sait : avec peu, on peut faire beaucoup », c’est avec cette idée forte que nous voudrions bâtir cet espace. ce projet est en marche et tous ceux qui voudraient se joindre à nous sont les bienvenus. nous ne devons pas oublier les sujets nationaux d’actualité. la réforme de l’internat ne doit pas conduire à une formation au rabais; notre société doit tout mettre en oeuvre pour préserver le niveau de formation des chirurgiens de la main. nous devons conserver le contrôle de l’organisation de la prise en charge des urgences. pour cela, le travail entrepris il y a bientôt 40 ans par la cesum puis la fesum doit être poursuivi. 20 ans après le « livre blanc » un nouvel état des lieux de notre activité est en cours. nous avons aussi souhaité profiter de cette année de présidence pour partager notre approche de la prise en charge initiale des urgences par les « médecins de la main », nous leurs donnerons la parole. 2018 est une année particulièrement chargée sur le plan scientifique. les 4 et 5 mai, le 2ème cours pratique aura lieu au luxembourg, nous avons confié son organisation à jean goubau. les 22 et 23 juin, c’est aux vans, dans le village natal d’ollier que je vous accueillerai pour parler des prothèses de la main et du poignet. avec une table ronde intitulée : « ensemble continuons à innover », nous avons associé nos partenaires industriels à une réflexion sur l’avenir de l’innovation. enfin le congrès de décembre clôturera l’année de la francophonie, en ouvrant je l’espère, une ère de coopération renforcée entre chirurgiens, kinésithérapeutes francophones. pour fêter cet évènement, le 21 décembre, la tour eiffel nous accueillera pour dîner. avec le gemmsor et son président michel boutan nous avons voulu partager ce moment. nous restons à votre écoute, n’hésitez pas à contacter juliette chort, notre dévouée et très efficace secrétaire. amicalement jean-luc roux secretariat.gem@live.fr dear colleagues, dear friends, last december, you bestowed on me this imposing medal which, from one year to the next the presidents of our society have handed to one another. this is an honor as well as a major responsibility, since to act as a president is to prepare the future. at a time when demographics indicate that the number of french-speakers will be multiplied by three within the next 30 years, we want to celebrate the "francophonie" (french speaking) in 2018. for more than a year, we have been talking with french-speaking surgeons from various countries, with whom we would like to take stock of hand surgery in our countries. on the basis of this assessment, our objective is to create a training forum.
